Apple Cider Vinegar – a natural path to clear skin

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under Uncategorized | No Comments »

Many health professionals are agreeing that apple cider vinegar can work wonders for health. Both doctors and natural health enthusiasts suggest that apple cider vinegar can be good for the body and skin when used both topically and orally. It is also a very effective acne treatment. Furthermore, being 100% natural, with many organic brands available, it is suitable for those who want to avoid using harsh, man-made acne skin care products. Apple cider vinegar can become the core of an acne skin care regimen. For best results, it should be used orally and topically.

Why does drinking apple cider vinegar improve the skin?
When ingested, apple cider vinegar can help to detoxify the liver, keeping it strong and helping it to function fully. As anyone who has down the slightest research on beating acne knows, liver health is essential for a clear, glowing complexion. The skin is an organ just like any other. If the liver is forced to deal with too many toxins, it may excrete them through the skin, resulting in bacterial overload and eventually, acne. Therefore, poor liver function can result in acne. Apple cider vinegar can help keep the liver strong, thereby improving breakdown of toxins without excreting them through the skin. Apple cider vinegar can also improve the digestion. Being acidic, it can help to stimulate and regulate production of stomach acid, which is important for breaking down food particles and absorbing nutrients. This will provide a further aid to the skin.

How can applying apple cider vinegar topically improve the skin?
Applying apple cider vinegar topically to the skin surface can help to improve acne and also to reduce facial redness. It can also reduce the amount of sebum or oil on the skin’s surface. One of the advantages of using apple cider vinegar is that it can improve the complexion as well as clearing up acne.

At first, it is best to dilute the vinegar to a 10% solution. This can then be dabbed on the skin using cotton pads up to three times daily. It may be wise to test the solution on a small part of unnoticeable skin in order to determine its suitability for your skin type. The concentration of vinegar solution can gradually be increased as the skin becomes accustomed to the vinegar.

There are some negatives to using apple cider vinegar. Firstly, it has a very strong and bitter taste. To combat this, try mixing it with fruit juice or chasing it with honey. Furthermore, as with any acid, it can damage the tooth enamel. Drinking through a straw will minimise the contact it has with the teeth. Should cider vinegar fail to work, professional products like ClearPores can also be beneficial.

Do your sons have a fatboy bean bag

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under Uncategorized | No Comments »

The critical thing to look for in quality fatboy bean bags is that the seams are stitched twice. This means that the bean bag cover is going to be sewn twice, ensuring that you aren’t going to have beans falling out and making a mess every time you move the bag. One more point that you want to think about when you are looking at the seams is if they are concealed or visible. Seams that are concealed will last much longer and will be far more comfortable to relax on for longer timeframes. The most important area as you can assume, is getting a bean bag that is going to make sure that you are comfy.

Can You Find Reasonably Priced Insurance?

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under Uncategorized | No Comments »

In my state there is no such thing as cheap health insurance. I work for an employer who pays 66% of my insurance premiums and my portion of the premiums still costs more than 15% of my salary. So for each two week pay period I work, a day and a half goes to pay for my health insurance. And what is really outrageous is that my premiums have increased each of the past seven years. At my work we have two plans, one is an HMO and the other is a self insurance plan administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. I have the HMO which is the more expensive plan. I thought about switching to the cheaper self insured plan but last year to save money the self insured plans stopped covering a lot of non generic medications. Now if there are no generic alternatives to a medication that you need you have to pay the whole cost of the prescription. The thing that was really amazing about the change they made was that it was made in the middle of the year. At our business you can only make insurance changes once per year during open enrollment, so all the people who had the self insurance plan had to pay all those extra costs for six months until open enrollment came. So that plan now has a lot of hidden costs that offset the cheaper premiums. I looked for private insurance and it is more expensive than what I pay at work so there are not only no cheap options but there are also no cheaper options.

How did user qat600 get +999,999 points last week by asking 95 pointless questions about food 6 months ago?

Check out the leaderboard and see for yourself.
No, Amanda, I’m not jealous, just curious. Stop overreacting excitedly like a preteen girl and go do your homework instead of wasting your time telling people how worthless they are and how much you don’t care.

It’s very interesting. My guess would be that Yahoo experienced a random glitch (this is likely because of the "points this week" count being off count for weeks), and this guy got the luck of the draw.

IRS Refund

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under Business | No Comments »

It’s time to celebrate if you get an IRS Refund ….any refund. Even a little one! If you’re like me, until you actually do your taxes you have not idea if you will be getting an IRS refund or will have to pay the government, mega bucks!

You should have a general idea whether to expect a refund or a payment to the government but the way the tax code and your personal situation changes from year to year makes it somewhat hard to figure out

Some ambitious people do year-end planning that allows them to come up with a way to maximize the IRS Refund that they will receive each year.
