Sprinkle some Baking Soda onto the palm of your hand to which you have poured some liquid soap or use bar soap with the baking soda and wash your hands as normal then rinse with warm water and dry Good Luck !

How do I eat or cook food if I rent only a room?

Posted by admin on October 30th, 2009 and filed under food only | 3 Comments »

Im planning to rent a room - just a room and sharing bathroom and everything else. and this is the first time im moving out on my own, but do i have to buy my own food? and cook my own food? or do i have to share and cook together?

You are responsible for feeding yourself - buying food, cooking it, cleaning up after yourself, everything - unless you’re in a boarding house, where you might get some meals at the house as part of your rent.

Why don’t more fast food restaurants offer more fast healthy options?

Why don’t more fast food restaurants offer more fast healthy options?

I’m all for that! But the reason they don’t (I think) is because healthy foods like veggies and fruits don’t last as long as french fries and meat that can be frozen forever. All fast foods are loaded with preservitives so they last longer. Healthy foods aren’t. They’d lose money…and that’s the bottom line… I know that McDonalds did start offering more salads and bottled water after that "Supersize Me" movie. They really took a beating for that. Maybe we need to educate more people about the unhealthy food they eat when they go to fast food. Then if people cut back on going, it will hurt their business, then they’ll have to give the people what they want in order to stay in business?!

Good question!

How does one generate income from a website that offers free product or services?

Posted by admin on October 30th, 2009 and filed under free offers | 2 Comments »

I wanna start a website and need to know how to obtain a web domain and how to generate income when the product and/or service you offer is free of charge? Also what is the average cost of a website/domain name? Is this even possible?

Sure it’s possible. You can generate income from affiliate sites…that is receiving a % of income from selling ones product. Also, if you generate high traffic you have the chance of a major company wanting to advertise on your sight while pay you a substantial amount for the space on your site.

Any secret Mcdonalds french fry recipes?

Or other Mcdonalds stuff ..links if you got em.

McDonalds Fries
Source: zenadsl2377

2 large Idaho Russett potatoes
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons corn syrup
1 1/2 - 2 cups hot water
6 cups Crisco® shortening
1/4 cup beef lard (or save the fat from previously cooked burgers)
salt

Peel the potatoes. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, and hot water. Make sure the sugar is dissolved. Using a French fry slicer, cut the peeled potatoes into shoestrings. The potatoes should be 1/4" x 1/4" in thickness, and about 4" to 6" long. (You can do this with a knife, but it is a lot of work). Place the shoe stringed potatoes into the bowl of sugar-water, and refrigerate. Let them soak about 30 minutes.

While they’re soaking, pack the shortening into the deep fryer. Crank up the temperature to "full". The shortening has to pre-heat for a very long time. It will eventually liquify. After it has liquified and is at least 375°, drain the potatoes and dump them into the fryer. (be careful, it will be ferocious) After 1 to 1½ minutes, remove the potatoes and place them on a paper towel lined plate. Let them cool 8 to 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

While they’re cooling, add the lard or beef drippings to the hot Crisco®. Again, crank the temperature to full. Stir in the lard as it melts into the oil. It will blend in. After the deep fryer is reheated to 375°-400°, add the potatoes and deep fry again. This time for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and place in a large bowl.

Sprinkle generously with salt, then "toss" the fries to mix the salt evenly. (I suggest about 1 teaspoon of salt, maybe slightly more). Serve hot, serve immediately, and enjoy! Depending upon the size of the potatoes, this recipe make about 2 medium sized fries.

Special Notes:
Note: If you want more fries, double the recipe—but DON’T double the cooking oil. Just cook them in shifts, adding about 1/4 cup more Crisco® and 1 tablespoon lard for the second batch.

Note: For an easier clone of McDonald’s french fries, you can use the frozen, pre-cut Ore-Ida® shoestring potatoes. Just cook them in the same combo of Crisco® and lard, skipping the "blanching" process. Cook them while still frozen for 6-10 minutes (depending upon the amount) until golden brown. They’re good, but not nearly as accurate in taste and texture as the fresh recipe.

Aji De Carne (Bolivian Peppery Pork With Banana) Recipe

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon Olive oil — light
1 cup sweet onions — chopped
3 green onions — chopped, to taste
1 sweet onion — chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
8 ounces boneless pork top loin — cut in 1/2" cubes
1 1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 teaspoon Saffron
1/4 teaspoon salt — optional
1/4 teaspoon black pepper — freshly ground
1 tablespoon aji chile powder — or substitute Chimayo
1 small Chili pepper — optional
ground cloves — scant measure
1/8 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
3/4 cup lowfat chicken broth
annatto seeds, ground — optional
4 small russet potatoes — scrubbed and cut
2 green bananas — peeled and in 2" pieces
1/4 cup seltzer water, MIXED WITH
4 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
1 tablespoon Molasses
1 tablespoon lowfat peanut butter
4 tortillas — warmed
2 cups mixed salad greens — with shredded red cabbagei De

Directions:

Heat the oil in a Dutch oven casserole and saute the onions until almost soft. Add the garlic and cook until onions are soft. Add. Add the pork, a few pieces at a time, and brown (char a little).

Add the tomatoes, saffron, salt (if needed), black pepper, chile, cinnamon, cloves, and broth and optional annatto. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 40 to 50 mins.

Add the potatoes and continue to cook until the potatoes are done, about 30 minutes. Add the bananas *before* the potatoes are done but the bananas need about 10 mins at most. Make a well and tilt the pan so that the liquids pool. Pour the sauce ingredients gently combine; simmer until heated through, taking care that the "cream" does not boil.

Serve immediately with warmed tortillas and mixed salad greens, undressed or a little lemon-lime juice.

What is the difference between brand food and food brand?

Posted by admin on October 30th, 2009 and filed under food | 1 Comment »

I know what is ethnic food, exotic food, vegetarian food, but I don´t know what is brand food?

Brand food is a "name brand" like Kellogg’s, Betty Crocker, Campbell’s etc…the food brand is each stores "generic" for the same food at a lesser price. Be careful…some food brand items do not have the same quality. It is all just trial and error. :-) Hope I helped.
